Hello hello!

Sorry I didn't write last week, like I said, I'm a worm. It must come with being an old missionary :P So, I'm being good, and I will write one this week :D I have a sad thing to say.... I broke my camera this week. I don't know what happened to it, but Pulled it out of my coat pocket and the screen was all shattered... It survived for a long time, and I am sad to see it go... Dang... That is my sad thing for today.

Well, I will see if I can think up anything exciting to tell you for this week:

Monday: It was an average Pday. We did out normal stuff. Shopped and junk. And then we had supper with the sweetest older lady ever! She is the best! After that, we went out and knocked on doors for the rest of the night.

Tuesday: It was a pretty normal day. We went around and talked to people at the mall about setting up a booth for Easter, they said no... People weren't so nice about letting us set up a booth in any of the malls or public areas, so we are doing it anyway out in an area that they cant get mad at us. We had a lesson with Margaret, and did some members visits, but that was just about it.

Wednesday: District Meeting. I gave a doctrinal discussion about the the final week of Christ's life. It was pretty good if I do say so myself. Afterwards we spent a lot of time at the church designing everything for the booth, and getting it all ready to go, we are super excited about it. We got a little bit of finding time in at the end of the day, not much though...

Thursday: Basically we just did a whole bunch of finding activities. It was pretty great. The days that you get to just go out and work are the best days. I love them! We had institute in the evening, and basically nobody showed up, so they teacher just taught a room full of missionaries and RM's, instead of a room full of Recent converts, so it was a pretty awesome class. It was super deep, and really fun! I enjoyed it!

Friday: Weekly planning. Always a joy. We finished up our plans early, so we went and go everything printed that we need, and put together the boot! It looks pretty awesome!
We are so excited to keep running it! We got to do a little bit of street contacting, and talk to a few people before the night was over. We got in touch with one of our investigators who had fallen off the map, and got to have a lesson with him, that was great! It's been a long time since we've had a lesson with anyone... But, we will find new people, I can feel it!

Saturday: We ended up doing an out of the blue service project that was pretty good. We cleaned up the remains of an old shed in a branch members back yard. I may or may not have impaled my foot on a nail, and have been gimping around since then. That was not so much fun, but no infections, so I'm alive and fine :) Afterwards we went and set up our booth and got it going. It was pretty awesome! I enjoyed it. We didn't get to talk to a lot of people, but it was great being out and trying something new.

Sunday: Church day! Yippie. After Church we set up our booth again, and tried to talk to a couple more people. We were having some technical difficulties, but we think we have ironed out all of the wrinkles, so we are hoping from now it it will go great!

So yeah, that's where we are now.

I hope things are well back home :D

Love your guts so much,

Catch up week - 4 weeks worth of letters and pics

February 29, 2015
No Letter - Just pictures
We went to the wild life park and played with the animals!

SHEEP!

An Eagle! There are actually a ton of these in Canada, and I see them in the wild all the time, so it's not overly exciting....

An otter! I booped him on the nose :P

The Wolves were being playful :D

Our porcupine friend

This bear was the cutest thing ever! He was super sweet!

The cougars weren't all too happy to see us...

Greetings from the True North Strong and Free!

Things have been pretty quiet here on the Home Front, so I will see if I can actually think up anything interesting or worth talking about for you!

Monday: Pday. Nothing special. Shopping, and cleaning, and stuff like that. It was actually pretty boring. We had supper with the sweetest older lady ever. And then we went to a Barbershop Quartet that we were invited to. It was pretty sick. They want us to come and sing with them, so that's pretty awesome! We are excited to give it a bit of a go!

Tuesday: We basically didn't do anything on Tuesday. We had apartment inspections, which took quite a while, followed by going and getting another estimate on our car, and going to tell the other company to please send the first estimate to the guy in charge of cars. When all that was finally finished, we had to hop in the car and drive down to Dartmouth to stay the night with the Elders there for Zone Training the next day. It was a long day, and a long drive.

Wednesday: Zone Training. Interviews with President Pratt. More Meetings. Drive back to Sydney. That was basically the whole day in a nut shell.
Here is the Plan of Salvation that I drew for a lesson with Margaret.
We left it on the white board in the Library :P

Thursday: It was a pretty good day. We got a little bit of work done. We did a couple of hours of finding, but the rest of the day was spent in meetings with our Branch Mission leader, and then in going to institute. We went to the Christian Student Society Bible Study at the University here, but we were politely asked not to come back. They don't like us too much..... That was a bit of a bummer. I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes. Some Christians are nicer than others.

Friday: Weekly planing. I don't think anything else exciting happened on Friday. We worked on our Transfer Plan. That's about it.

Saturday: We had an awesome branch activity out at the Wild Life park! We got to play with all sorts of fun animals! It was pretty sick. Other than that, we just worked the rest of the day. We are pretty boring people.

Sunday: We had a couple of lessons. Two Recent Convert lessons and one with our investigators. It was a pretty good day for that! Church was fun. Yeah.... Just normal Sabbath activities.

So yeah.. that was our week. Sorry we are pretty lame!

I hope you have a good week!
Love your guts!

February 15, 2016

Well, hello there!

Well, I'm not going to lie, I got distracted this week and talked to other people, and wrote lots of other emails, and I totally forgot to write a big letter...... I'm super sorry, I'm a worm! Just know that nothing too exciting happened this week. We had lots of snow. And it's super cold right now... We taught a couple of lessons, and we knocked on lots of doors. That's the short version of the week. I'm sorry! I will repent and be more diligent next week!

Love your guts!

Okay, well I guess I had better get this letter written.

Not much happened this week. It was pretty boring actually. This will probably be a pretty short letter because I can't think up much that happened.. We will find out...

Monday: Well, it was a pretty normal Pday. Nothing too exciting there. WE shopped and did all the normal pday stuff. Afterwards we had supper with a really sweet old lady, and then we went out and knocked on peoples doors. That's about it :P

Tuesday: It was a pretty normal day. Elder L. Did language study in the morning, so I cleaned the house, and then we went out and talked to people on the street. We went and tried to talk to some less active members. We had our first lesson with Margaret as a Recent Convert, that was pretty awesome! We watched the Prophet of the Restoration with her at the University. It was pretty great. After that we went out and we knocked on peoples doors.

Wednesday: District meeting like usual. Nothing too fancy there. We had lunch with the Pratts (The senior couple, not the mission president :P). They are the best! I love those two! Afterwards we had a correlation meeting with our branch president. That was good. We went to the Auto Body shop to get an estimate on how much it is going to cost to get our car repaired... It's only going to be like $4,418.00.... Oops... I guess I goofed a little bit. But, that is behind us now...  We basically spent the rest of the night out knocking and talking to people.

Thursday: I got really sick in the morning so we didn't do much... Like, really sick.... So yeah... We tried to go street contacting later in the afternoon, but I only lasted about an hour before I had to go in... It was bad. But I'm better now.

Friday: Weekly planning. That's always fun. We had lunch with a member at his auto body shop. Always a good time. After that it was basically knocking and street contacting all day. We had supper with some awesome members! I love them, they are my Sydney Parents :D She made some SOLID Fish and chips. They were SO FREAKING GOOD! I loved it! That was basically our friday.

Saturday:  Lots of finding. That's about it.

Sunday: Happy Sabbath. Church, Talking to less active members. That's pretty well it. Nothing too exciting...

Well, that's my week, sorry my letter was pretty pathetic this week. I will try harder next week!

Love your guts!
